JR Hakata Station City AMU PLAZA HAKATA

"Amu Plaza Hakata" is a commercial facility that is the core of "JR Hakata City" located at Hakata Station, the gateway to Kyushu and Asia. We aim to be a station building that not only sells goods but also remains in the hearts of a wide range of target audiences. The product sales floor combines an organic horizontal line of flow that connects the adjacent commercial facility with a functional vertical line of flow that connects the upper and lower floors, realizing a store layout that makes it easy to shop around. In addition, the environmental design is varied according to the character of each floor, such as high prestige and a casual feel full of individuality. Furthermore, while flexibly responding to the concept of each floor, we ensured a sense of unity and grade throughout the building.
