Saitama Prefectural River Museum

It opened in 1997 as the nation's first comprehensive river museum. Currently, NOMURA operates it as the designated manager.
displays introduce the relationship between Saitama's rivers and people's lives, centering on the Arakawa River, and serve as a place for local and environmental studies that convey the footprints of our ancestors who lived alongside rivers. Outside, there are water facilities such as a 1:1000 model of the Arakawa River, the largest water wheel in Japan, and a water athletics facility.
