Okajima Department Store Relocation Plan

This is a relocation plan due to the aging of the building of the Okajima Department Store. The relocation destination will be the nearby commercial facility "KoKori", and in this project, we will perform construction management work (project management / facility coordination / furniture and fixture manufacturing Business), Design (Architectural Design/design administration/ Facility design) and construction (architecture/equipment).

This was Okajima's first large-scale renovation project, and the problem was the lack of people in charge of project management and budget management, in addition to construction management and furniture and fixture manufacturing.
In addition, the relocation facility was a commercial facility, and the building itself was not designed with the concept of a department store in mind.

We built a system to cover a wide range of operations, including architectural equipment design, construction and construction management, and made proposals. In particular, in terms of design, we promoted design work while considering the feasibility of building and equipment while making proposals that utilized the experience and know-how cultivated in past department store-related projects so that the sales floor space could be established as a department store. As a result, we were able to build a space as a department store.

Since the new facility was not built with the concept of a department store in mind, it must have been very difficult to create the sales floor environment for a department store. We have realized a space with dignity and world view.
