overview

This is a value-enhancing renovation project for a 16-story office building completed in 1988, located in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, a 10-minute walk from Shinjuku Station.
The areas to be renovated include the first floor external facade, planting, first floor entrance, and common area on the standard floor, including the toilets. The overall concept design concept is ``Qualité'', which means quality in French.

Issues/requests

Compared to other new office buildings in the Nishi-Shinjuku area, the post-modern concept design of the 1980s (bubble period) gives the impression of an office building from a decade ago. That was the issue.

solution

The building, which is over 30 years old, has a universal, high-quality concept design that is unaffected by the trends of the times.
By installing a light wall and sofas in the entrance hall to create a place where tenant users and building visitors can interact, we have revitalized the entire building.
