Since opening in 2011 at the east exit of JR Urawa Station, East Medical Clinic's new medical facility in Urawa PARCO has been used for internal medicine, breast surgery, complete health checkups, and health checkups not only by local residents but also by many nearby companies. This is a relocation project to a mall.
The relocation opening comes after two years of consulting on the target property and redefining the mission as the scale of the clinic expanded.

The floor load and electrical capacity of the new facility were at the level of a typical commercial facility, so the first challenge was whether it would be possible to accommodate large X-ray medical equipment and create an X-ray protection zone. In addition, the layout of the examination room and examination room, which takes into account the operation of both the general outpatient clinic and the medical examination facility, has been modified to fit within a narrow space. Since it was a space, we were also required to clear concept design of a biased spatial configuration. In addition, as our company was in charge of the branding work, a unified spatial concept design was also an important element.

On the hardware side, we were able to overcome the challenges by carefully calculating electrical capacity, floor load distribution, and drainage location while working with external brains. The space with uneven height was concept design to take advantage of the height as a dense waiting space, and the height of the private rooms was kept low to create a space where it is easy to have a conversation in peace.
Regarding the layout, the reception area for the general outpatient clinic and health checkup facility was placed at both ends of the block, and the examination rooms and examination rooms were housed within a modified narrow block, with consideration given to flexible operation that takes into account both operations.
In addition,our company was in charge of the branding work, and based on interviews with on-site staff, we established the clinic as ``a place where people from the local community gather to feel trust and peace of mind, as it embodies the essence of medical care and the warmth of people.'' Developed a logo mark and graphics (new VI) to represent the ideal state. We were able to create a unified spatial concept design while incorporating elements of the new VI into the space, such as doors and signs.
